Delete Your Account
This page explains how users of the AlMaqam Car Rental app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
1. Delete your account from the app
- Open the AlMaqam mobile application.
- Sign in to the account you want to remove.
- Go to your profile or account settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
2. Alternative deletion request by email
If you cannot access the app, send your deletion request to info@almaqamrc.com.sa using the email address registered on your account, or include the registered mobile number so the request can be verified.

3. What data will be deleted
- Profile information linked to your account, such as name, email address, and phone number.
- Saved preferences, app settings, and location permissions associated with your account.
- Uploaded account-related information that is no longer required for legal or operational purposes.
- In-app account associations that identify you as an active user of the service.
- Any remaining loyalty points balance and referral code linked to your account. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded upon account deletion.
- Subscription to service and promotional notifications linked to your account, including push, SMS, email, and WhatsApp messages.
4. What data may be retained
- Reservation, invoice, payment, and tax records that must be retained for regulatory, accounting, dispute resolution, or security reasons.
- Records related to corporate reservations when your account is linked to a company contract or business account.
- Support and complaint records needed to handle ongoing cases or legal obligations.
- Fraud prevention and abuse prevention records required for platform integrity and legal enforcement.
- Technical logs required for security, auditing, and legal enforcement.
Retained information is kept only for the period reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and is then deleted or anonymized.
5. Processing time
Account deletion requests are reviewed and processed within a reasonable period. In most cases, account data that is eligible for deletion is removed or anonymized within up to 30 days after verification of the request, unless a longer retention period is required by law or legitimate operational necessity.
